Learning Opportunities a.k.a. Travel Agenda

1. My Dream Destination! – Children get to design a 3-D model of an aeroplane and write their predictions about their dream destination. This will improve their imaginative, predictive and analytical skills.

2. Bring Home A Souvenir – Children get to make their own souvenirs from a country of their choice and take them home as a memento of their experience. They will then write about this souvenir using their five senses and use descriptive language to make their writing more interesting.

3. Design Your Own Postcard – Children get to imagine a place of interest in their dream destination and write a postcard to their loved one about their travel experience. This will enhance their visualisation and perceptive skills and allow them to express themselves clearly and coherently in writing.

4. Travel Words – Through games and movement activities, children get to expand their travel vocabulary by learning new words and applying these words appropriately in sentences.
